Hi

Anybody tried the cc site When i try to look at availability it just crashes. I looked at our booking for the summer and it says You do not appear to have any booking,But i have got the comfirmation email so we will just wait till i get a reply from them.

We went to the CC's Clachan site for the weekend, and you have to check in at nearby Maragowan - their system was down at the office.  No problem as the wardens had a note of who was booked in so they just ticked us off as having arrived, we paid our money and went off to find our pitch for a great weekend.

The company I work for paid an inordinate amount for a computer system and, 7 years later, we're still fighting to get it to do what it should, fixing problems and suffering when it goes down!

I spoke to them last week as I had a problem with a booking in June for a pitch at Folkestone.

The warden at the site told me they are updating the system at present and it is causing some problems. She recommended that I spoke to HQ which I did.

After speaking to them, a  very nice lady called me back later in the day with the problem resolved!

I have always found the folks at East Grinstead very helpful for bookings etc.

Its all back online now. Booking now have different reference numbers.
