Hi all

I recently put a post on asking best ways to levelling a twin axle (side to side)as we have just changed our van to a twin axle and had a 4 x 4 powertouch mover fitted. 

I do have one of the Yellow pyramid type wedges with chock and was going to buy a second one as noticing on the recent posts, some have suggested a way of using two of these by running the back wheel up the first wedge then introducing the second. However it is not very clear from then? t reads as though after putting the second wedge under that you continue rolling the van up on the mover and let it drop onto the second wedge, hence both wheels being at the bottom of the wedges and level from there.

If this is right could it not damage the mover as the engaged wheel skids down the high part of the wedge on to the bottom of the second. Also what would be the best way of getting the second wedge back out again without letting the wheel fall off the high part again onto the ground?

Sorry if this seems obvious to some used to levelling twins but, up until now I have only had single axles and we are taking the van away for Easter for the first time and not sure if the pitch will be flat

Planks are very much better and easier.  With a heavy van, the plastic ramps distort anyway. Planks are much more secure.  Also, get some blocks for the steadies in case you are on sloping ground. All extra weight, of course, but essential.

 we used 2 wedge type but did not reverse on to them.

 after looking at your sprite level on the caravan floor, just inside the door and seeing that one side needs upping some what, put both levels together one in front of the other then drive forward onto them, the front wheels will bounce down over the back one onto the front one, then the back wheel will go up the back leveler, useing the sprite level check how high the van needs to be.

you will find with a twin axle that 9 times out of 10 levellers wont really be needed and your fridge will work fine and if you roll together a bit more than normal, well that will add to the holiday, wont it.
