We had the call from the dealer today - we can pick the new van up on 22nd!! We are so excited - our old one went weeks ago so we haven't been out yet ata all.
One question - does anyone know anything about "Paintsel"? A coating costing about 300 pounds. The dealer mentioned it today - we said we would get back to him. We were going to buy a cover as the storage place is surrounded by trees and every spring, we have to scrub the green algae off it. Now we didn't mind on our old 20 yhear old van - but on a brand new one!!!? So is this paint seal a viable option? Grateful for any help ----- do you think I will sleep tonight - I don't think so!!!!
Don't know specifically about Paintsel but I'm getting something similar done to my new car - and Autglym product which is the same sort of thing - supposed to stop paint fading, make it easier to clean without additives and the upholstery is stain guarded too ( costing£210 +vat). I've always resisted this treatment in the past but a friend in the trade recons it is now very good and is a worthwhile option. Never heard of it for a van though.

My OH mentioned a product like this, they were on about it at Bardsea when he went with friends to pick up a van and reckoned it was great and muck just rolled off the van. Think I would be tempted if it was as good as they say.

Diamond bright is a first class application to put on a vehicle. We had it on a car & it kept it looking like new inside & out for years. Whether this is available for caravans, I don't know. I've got another finish on my new L200, I can't recall its name but it's the biggest load of rubbish I've ever come across. I regularly see the rep flying round in his white merc estate but I've yet to catch him.
