Ok here goes - one of those silly questions. As some of you know i will be picking up our new Lunar Quasar 615 next week and i see lots of posts about water pumps. It seems to me that some vans have them on board and some dont..... Does anyone know if my new van will have an on board water pump or will i have to buy one. I cannot seem to find this in the data - the van is a 2008 model. I hope i do not have to buy one as everyday there is something else that i need to buy...

Some vans have on-board pumps, others have ones you drop in the aquaroll and plug into the side of the van. Either way, there should be a pump with the van.

We have a Lunar Quasar FB, a 2008 model the water pump came with ours it's a truma type the one that "plug's" in to the side of the caravan I think there called a submersible type were the pump sit's in the water barrel. It took me a while to get the pressure switch set right just so that the pump run's on for a few second's after any tap is turned off.
It doesnt matter if you dont have one you dont need to buy one you still need an aqua roll or other form of water carrier anyway so dont worry about it. You still have an external pump whatever van you have. When you pick up your van all will become clear when the dealer goes theough everything with you.

Not quite correct.......If you have an on-board pump you may only have a "water uptake" (hose thing) that goes into the side of the van, not a full pump.
Graeme.....a spare pump or water uptake is a good thing to carry, they have been known to be stolen, or break.
