I love it because when you're at home we always find something to do, when we're away we can sit and do nothing without the guilt. A weekend is a weekend, walking, playing games, a little wine, early to bed. Oh and our 12 and 14 year old playing - this weekend building a dam in the stream, playing on a tyre swing, the other weekend it was sword fighting with sticks in the woods! Love it, only had 2 weekends so far this season and am hungry for more! Roll on May day, Dovedale here we come.

My wee dog loves being able to sleep in bed with us!!
I love the buffets, as there are 5 or 6 caravans of us goin away usually we all make something and have a buffet in someones awning, its great.
Winding down the legs and getting a chilled glass of wine whatever the time of day is!!
Opening the 2 hekis in the morning and letting the light flood in.
A caravan Sunday dinner!!
I LOVE EVERYTHING!!

Hearing the birds sing in the morning. The rain drumming on the roof. Being able to relax. Sleeping in my own bed no matter where we are. Talking with OH about the things we have seen while walking during the day and maybe looking at the photos on the pC.  And so many of the things listed.

New to caravans, but old hand at tents.

The week before last we went on our first trip out in the caravan. The older lads had their pup tent, and 4 of us in the caravan.

I must say, I'm now hooked on the caravan-things i really liked were cooking a good fry up in the morning, not chasing, staying in my pj's for as long as possible. When we did have rain, being able to sleep and not having the loud sound you normally get a tent.
Sitting at the table, watching the children playing and having fun and generally having a nose about.

But one thing its just easy to pack up and take off, no fuse at all.

Cant wait until we get away again.

I love being able to sit and chill without doing loads of jobs

I love the smell of breakfast cooking and BBQ's in the evening,

I love caravanning in the winter as we curl up under the duvet and watch dvd's with a glass of wine.

Love everything about it.

Only had one trip in my van so far - but remember growing up as a kid with 4 of us in a Sprite 400 - all 10 ft of it!
Love the freedom, the sound of the rain on the roof, BBQ's smoking away and the smell wafting round the site, afternoon naps and plenty of vino. Roll on the next weekend I can go - can't wait!

I love the feeling I get hitching up the van and getting into the drivers seat and driving off, contemplating the relaxing couple of days ahead (and usually leaving a ton of housework behind which I am very good at blocking out!!).

The company of our daughter when she announced that she was coming too when we went away before Easter.

Coffee and a book in bed until 11am.

Rain on the roof (it drowns out my lovely hubby's snoring).

Being able to Geocache further afield.

Watching some of the many DVDs bought but never watched at home 'cause we never have time.

Hopefully NOT shopping at Tesco for a change!!!!

Eating Coco Pops for breakfast, or eating breakfast at all!
