This is our first full year of caravanning and wondered if people steralize their aquaroll the first time out in the season. Being a Scouter, we always steralize our water carriers etc before we use them the first time each year.
We sterilse ours at the beginning of the season and also if it's been left for a few weeks with out use. We use some big white tablets (can't remember the name of them but they're the same idea as Puriclean). They're used to clean vending machines so must be food safe. We don't drink water from the taps but I still like to know the aqua roll is clean and fresh.
ps I'm a Guider. I don't camp with my Guides though. We stay indoors where the girls have plugs sockets for their straighteners and ipods! It's just not the same anymore!
