Yeah, The GT Ranger is what we went looking at initially after the reviews we had read.
However we thought the fitting were not very good. Like the springy plastic to hold the cupboard doors shut. It will go brittle over time and break or potentially mis shape its self.
We also thought that the cupboard arrangement looked a bit square and had no character.
But the Clincher was we looked at about 3 GT's and different dealers and they all had bits ready to fall off. De-lamination of the door surfaces, finishing trim round the doors falling off. Doors not on straight cupboards not on straight.
We then looked at the Sprite and the finish was night and day. Everything seems a lot better put together, it does not have some of the extras's the GT has but the build quality was that much better. Plus we got the Anniversary Pack for free :)
Blackburn was one of the placed we looked at, and thats where we 1st noticed the bad fit. The finishing strip along the top of the toilet door was hanging off and the door was skew-wiff.
If you are asking where in the NW we looked for vans it was everywhere, ended up at Campbell's in Kirkham.
This is our 1st caravan so I know how you feel :)
What you have to remember and it goes for everything anywhere where there may be awards being handed out the units get built with a bit extra TLC :)
