This refers to the Status 315........the 530 (directional) is more than good enough 

Fitting a 530 is very simple if you are prepared to cut a hole in the roof of your vehicle!

It requires internal clearance (to raise and lower the pole and rotate it) so is normally fitted in a wardrobe. There is a 10" mast which may fit in a top locker. The internal fitted amplifier is virtually identical to the 315 model.

I bought mine on E-Bay and sold the 315 on E-Bay with a final expenditure of £35 to £50 overall.

If your 315 amplifier is in the wardrobe it won't even need to be moved.

What nobody has mentioned, is that you will need a compass, and the bearing, which you will get from uk digital tv reception predictor.

I raise the mast and see what direction any others are pointing then follow suit.

If no others I just raise it then tune in. It will normally find something. If it doesn't I rotate it 180 and try again. I then fine tune by simply turning the mast for the best signal and tune in again..

It really isn't necessary to know where the transmitter is. This works in all the Northern European countries.
