Probably the most important measurement for a porch awning is the height of the caravan awning rail to the ground. Not all caravans are the same height ! A lot of these newer lightweight awnings are made from nylon, not acrylic like Isabella, Trio, Bradcott etc. They have a single pole which runs across the front edge of the awning. They are really a quick - fix awning which will do for a couple of nights, costing around £130 to £170 or so, but actually look OK when assembled. If you require a much stronger porch awning then go for an Isabella Minor or slightly larger Magnum but expect to pay considerably more, £600 to £800. You need to be aware that some porch awnings might cut half way across a side window which you do not want.
