We recently bought an awning from ebay, it's a dorema president, just right for us as we only have a small van but to be honest it's filthy and needs a good scrub, does anyone have any suggestions for what the best cleaner would be to use ?
We have tried some washing powder in a bucket of warm water on the outside which worked to a certain extent but hadn't thought of carpet shampoo, that might well work.
Hi we were told just to use fenwicks as using soap powder or any other household cleaner stripped the water proofing and its quite pricy to have an awning re proofed. we were lucky, we bought our awning 2nd hand and it had only been used twice, a total of 6 days and had'nt been out in the rain or mud, cost us £200 but saved us about £400.... bargain. Ours cost us £80, we emailed the seller after it failed to meet the reserve on ebay, after a lot of bartering and poverty pleading we got the right price. It's slightly oversized but has now gone to Kingswood canvas to be altered which is going to cost £96 but we think it will be worth it, just need to spruce it up a bit lol
