Can anyone give me their opinions of Hymer caravans and anyone know of a dealer in the North?  OH quite fancies one

Lowdhams at Huddersfield for one. Never had one, but always fancied one, but they never quite fit the bill layout wise. They have a new single bed end bathroom, which is nice but a tad expensive.

The only places to buy a new caravan in the UK are Lowdhams at Huddersfiled, and Lowdhams in Nottingham for the caravans unless you are looking at the Puck or the Troll which are marketed as Eriba. Have a look at http://www.hymer.com/cms/en/service1/dealers/Suche.html&country=GB    which lists all the dealers in the UK  I bought mine in 2003 from Huddersfield and have never regretted it. Mind you if I was looking now they would be out of my price range.

I would love one but out of our price range, Also have a look at the geist range of vans they have good write ups,

Having said that they are out of my price range Lowdhams at huddersfield have a 2006 Nova in that has twin beds at the back and a decent sized living area and they are asking just over £10k for it, if it would have fittedon my front garden t would have been sold by now, it is in really nice condition.

Hi used to have a Hymer 570 but sold it because the layout was not as user friendly as we first thought,also the front seating was not that comfortable for sitting ,when we were away for 2 or 3 months at a time.

As for the build quality,it is very good but the vans are heavy and we needed a 4x4 to tow with.

The other point is when you wish to change the Hymer a lot of dealers are not interested in taking them in part x so the only place to trade is Lowdhams who are the U K suppliers.Trust this is of some help to you.
