Hi, We are thinking of purchasing a porch awning as it is too much effort for hubby and I to put up the full awning just for a few days on short trips. We have seen a brochure for the NR Coniston Luxe and before committing ourselves, as it is quite expensive, we wondered if anyone else has had experience of this model or NR in general. Many thanks.
We have a full NR awning and after purchase I requested some information and parts for spares "just in case". They were prompt, informative and very good about the parts I wanted and ordered.

In my opinion, NR are the best awnings around. We had a full NR awning for our old van, but it's much too small for our new one. We have tried three different cheaper porch awnings in the last year and they have all been awful. So we are going to convert our old NR one into a half awning instead.
The quality is second to none, and the company are really good to deal with too.
We have an Avondale sandmartin and the only porch awning we could get to suit the low rail height was the NR coniston luxe. The quality is great and I would certainly recommend it. We ordered from the manufacturer and it was made to measure and delivered very quickly. We are very satisfied.
I had a Coniston porch ( the small one ) and found it almost as hard to put up as the full awning, the only difference was less pegs. I also found it not quite big enough so found an isabella minor on ebay which takes about as much putting up but has more space. I gave the coniston away as after 6 years and 12 uses one of the zips had broken.

For a licence dated 1997 or later you must add together the plated max weight of the caravan and trailer, if the total is 3500 or less you can tow it. You may even tow a caravan with a MAM greater than the cars unladen mass the restriction was removed in 2013
We have an Nr Coniston and love it, we also have a porchlite xl but nearly always take the NR . We find it's nearly as easy to put up and it's a lot more sturdy.
