With our van we have a full size awning which is great when we all go away for a few days. But I will be taking the van away locally for just a night sometimes, with just me and my young sons. I wont need a full size awning but wouldn't mind a small porch awning just to keep shoes etc.

Is there any kind of quick pitch porch awning, which I can put up myself in minimal time ?

We have an outdoor revolution porchlite square, goes up in 10minutes including pegging, had just one pole and you can unzip the front and use the veranda poles and have it as a sun canopy.

Highly recommend it, good quality and speedy to put up

So is about 10 minutes average for putting up a porch awning (and can i do it single handed) ?

Some go up in 10 minutes, You can do our porchlite single handed, it is easier with the two of you though,

I have used my outdoor revolution porch for the first time this weekend!

Amazing! and it stays on the rail so it is so quick to pitch
