Hi

Hope some experienced people can give me some advice - we have a 2003 Bailey Ranger 550/6 which has an awning size of 963cm. This is a size 13 (I think) but would an awning with size 975-1000 be too big?

I read somewhere that its better to go bigger but is this too big - should I stick to 950-975cm?

Hoping somebody with same van can tell me what works for them...

Hi Claire, I think the awning size of 975cm to 1000cm is way too big for your caravan. Some awning manufacturers (like Isabella) make awnings to a particular size eg 850 cm, 925cm  or 975cm etc,etc...... The fact that the awning is stated as 975 to 1000 does not mean it will stretch or shrink to fit somewhere between the two figures.If you are sure your caravan is 963cm then I would suggest you need an awning around the 950cm size but no less than that.
