Hi all,

We have just bought a Trophy 435/5 van and womdered how we are supposed to connect the water to it! It doesnt have the normal oblong plug, rather a round one with 2 pins - made by Whale.

Will I need to buy a special plug and then attach a pump to it or sonmething?

Thanks

Any accessory shop will stock the right pipe. Depending on the set up then its just a pipe, with the whale connector on and a filter at the end. The pump should be on-board - just look underneath the bed where the connection is and you should see the pump.

From researching the 'net it seems to have a Whale Dual Connector Socket and what looks like a Whale pressure switch inside the van, hence my thoughts on needing a submersible pump assembly......

Any help greatly appreciated !

Do you just attach a submersible and it's wiring to the back end of it and plug it in ?

Yes, plug it in and then turn the outer locking ring to keep it in place. The pins can become corroded and that in turn causes problems, easiest way to combat it I have found is to smear a spot of grease on the contact pins and also on the screw heads.
