We have just ordered a 'new to us' van and are due to collect it in 11days. I am sure that the van didn't have a spare wheel when we looked round it. Is this usual when you purchase a second hand van from a dealer or are they pulling a 'fast one?'
The van is a 2006 Lunar Quaser525L, any one know what it will cost us to get a spare as i'm not happy to tour without a spare, and do others ever do without a spare wheel.
Hi, Did you look underneath the caravan? There is usually a spare wheel carrier fitted to most vans just behind the axle. If there isn't one you will need one for sure....

A spare wheel would have been an optional extra on that model when bought new. Maybe it never had one, many the previous owners kept it when they PX'd it.
We did look in the front locker and there wasn't a spare in there, so it looks like the previous owner may have kept it - just our look! Do many of you tour without a spare wheel? And does anyone know the price of a new spare?
the spare can be in excess of 100 at the dealers as for the other part would you travel in your car with no spare???? fleabay is a good place for spare wheels at a fraction of the cost
would not travel without a spare, even the AA/RAC can not help if the tyre goes and the wheel is damaged.ask the dealer nicely to find you a second hand one,he will.or try here.
ah micheal just the man been talking to my supliers today and gt will be making a come back soon it looks as though they have been concentrating on a new brand (primewell) to enter and compete with the budget market i have ordered some of said tyres and they are very nice tyres
