Hi please can you help me on the above i have been told that i just need one item by the insurance co. but i get 10% discount if i fit the alko clamp which weights in at 4KG and £180. i have though about this item on the weight and price side.But i dont need to spend this much as there is no requirement for the insurance.

Also some scum bag may not see it and try nicking the van with it on.  major damage.

I would fit the best you can afford , the hassle of having your caravan nicked far outweighs the cost of buying a good lock imo . ( i think i've said that right , but you know what i mean ) .

I'm getting the alko stabiliser lock as your post above and also a Full stop Excaliber wheel lock as i posted in your other thread see here http://www.busyoutdoors.com/shop/security/excalibur-receiver-lock/prod_296.html. The excaliber can be used with its own reciever or with the one on the alko chassis (according to websites i've read). I saw my gt60 540 at the dealers yesterday and the alko chassis reciever does not contain the locking nut that used to be in to stop the bulldog alternative. So it should work.

Yes this locks the hitch and is very usefull when parked at sevices etc. We use ours all the time.

Thanks for for all your replys i think it will be the AL-ko security stuff as the Full stop Excaliber weight's in at 7.5 KG and the alko is only 4KG and all the extra odd KG's add up or am i being silly and numb again????

I will ask the C/club if there is a discount on other chassis reciever locks.

We've just ordered the GT60 540/6 and ordered the alko secure wheel lock as that seemed the easiest.

We  got the Al ko wheel lock. Takes us a few minutes to put it on.

Hi sorry i haven't replyed but i am having prob's logging on

The lastest is bailey has a build date for the 27th april and the 17th may for the GT 60 so the date of the 22nd of may is realistic according to Bailey when i phoned up.
