Well we finally done.
Having started camping about 5 years ago with a 1990 Pennine Pullman folding camper to see if we would like it and then moving over to a 1998 Conway Mirage trailer tent and then moving up to a 2003 Pennine Pathfinder folding camper which was our pride and joy we have now sold that and got a 2002 Coachman Amara 500/5 Caravan.
I was always quite reluctant to go all the way so to speak especially once we got the Pennine Pathfinder with all the luxurys that had but last year got me thinking into getting a caravan, and now we have!
Been away for one weekend so far which was great with so much more space and no more unfolding of main camper etc. Have done loads of little small jobs on it to like extra 12v sockets, replaced cooker lid, new carpet, new LED lights, cleaned the whole awning and reproofed and its now like new again. Also bought a new porch awning from Towsure, loads of little gadgets the list goes on and so does my bank balance!
Regards
A sad ex-folding camper owner and a new happy caravan owner
