I am thinking of buying a lightweight awning for our Bailey Bordeaux for weekend trips to use instead of the full awning. I would be happy to deal with a wet nylon awning rather than a wet full awning just for a weekend. Our van is in storage so I cant measure the rail. Does anyone know what the rail length is at full height. I am not sure if there is sufficient length for me to buy a 390 or a 260.

I don't have one but.
If its a 2000 on its internel length is 5.36m the top awning rails are around about on average 1m less then internel. so its very close for a 390

Yes thats my worry that the rail is not quite long enough. We are away in the van this weekend down in Cornwall so will have to take a tape measure with me to measure it. Then have to decide wether to go with a Sunncamp type awning or a Kampa type. To be honest I prefer the look of the Kampa Awning although I think its quite new so there may not be many out there.

You need to check out the van itself.

I have a 2006 model which is a bit longer than the newer ones.

I'm pretty sure the door is very close to the bend where the roof slopes toward the front.

Our 4 metre sun canopy goes just over the bend
