Hi, Outdoor Revoloution do a Porchlite Square awning which is very quick and simple to assembe and costs around £125 to £150, single pole only...You can pick one up on fleabay as good as new for less than £100....would recommend them for a short weekend break.

We have the outdoor revolution techlite 1...it stays on the van and you simply unzip the bag and roll it out..it has one pole which doesnt touch the van sides at all..you peg it down and attatch the storm straps by clips...the front panel rolls completely up and both side panels can be rolled back also..to form a canopy..

We have used this awning in rain, wind and snow and it held up extremely well..

hi

We have just got back from testing our new outdoor revolution techlite1. First time ever we have put up and took down an awning without threatening divorce!!!!

It was really wet and wild through the night but the awning was great even though we hadnt used storm straps. (by the time we realised wind was getting up we had too much wine too worry!) the awning was really versitile too as all sides and front can be rolled up or used as a door. It was taken down between showers and was back in its bag within 10mins, even though it was wet -its now hanging in my garage to dry.

Would recommend this space wise, ease of use and quickness.

We have just used our porchlite plus(I think that's what it is) doddle to put up,3xshockcorded fibreglass poles and 1xmetal one across front and down the sides. It was quite windy whilst putting it up and no real problems. Would suit a couple to use for dining out etc.We used it as sleeping area for the dog and his rather large cage.

We had an Apache that was easy for us, but we are so used to it, it goes up like clockwork.

Now we have a Corsican porchlite awning.  Due to being unlucky with the weather, we have not had a chance to try it out yet.  Hopefully we will get the chance soon.

Will report back.

theres only one problem for me with the easy-up weekend awnings - they all start with a rail height of 220cm or higher. My ABI is only 210-215 high - so I can't find anything that will fit. Any ideas anyone? Have thought of the driveaway motorhome annexes - and just found the Outdoor Revolution Outhouse XL Handi - which looks possible.
