hi we have a proper eurovent verandah combi porch but it is about 5 years old now and it fits like a awning goes down at the back on the caravan the year after model can fit in middle of van

what i was asking would you open the awning channel or cut the bead on the awning

we used it on the thee other van and opened thee awning rail but we cant decide what to do this time

I think I understand. The awning has a beading that is designed to fit to the back end of the caravan and along the roof in a sort of L shape, but your caravan door is not at the back so you don't want the "down" bit in the awning channel as you need to slide it further forward?

I would put a nick in the awning beading rather than opening up the awning rail.

We have a combi awning and we cut the awning trim at the appropriate place.
