does anyone know if this is worth a visit? Their website is about as useful as.....well i've seen wallpaper with more information!
just want to know if there are likely to many vans there and much in the way of traders for bits and peices as at the moment i have nothing to encourage me to visit.
I'm going for a nosey as we only live about 20 mins away from there.....its a treat for my 21 month old lad who is obsessed with "caagans" as he puts it lol. Hubby went past yesterday and saw them setting it all up.
Its still worth going to jasie cuz even if you don't quite find what your after they have a huge park for the kiddies and its nice for a walk in the woods.
I pass blaise on my way to work every day they had just started to set up the marqee yesterday evening.Keep watching this post and I will update it tonight and tomorrow.
since i suggested to OH that we consider a caravan at the end of the season, we are having to look at anything and everything. nowt wrong with that I hear, particualry as the last van i used was over 20 yrs ago!
i just want to make sure there are going to be a good number of vans to look at.
It looks very much as if it will be more towards motorhomes then cravans from what I could see today. Not just bog standard motorhomes but the big 5th wheeler jobs very luxurious models. There does appear to be caravans there but I couldnt get a proper look I will look closer tomorrow. Just be warned its £5 per adult to enter the show.
My brother's a trader and most of the shows are geared more towards motorhomes. He's at Bristol this weekend and Newbury next so i can find out inside info on anything anyone wants to know.
Same outfit that set up the show in Exeter recently and that was pretty good. If you get bored you can always visit Clifton downs, the suspension bridge, Bristo Zoo or the dockland area in the centre where you can see SS Great Britain and a replica of Cabot's ship. Then for shopping there is the Mall at Cribbs Causeway or the new Cabot shopping centre in Bristol. Worth a day out
If you are thinking about visiting this show on Sunday 10th May, then please be aware that there is a 10km run being held in Bristol on Sunday and there may be some road closures. This shouldn't affect you if you are solely heading to the show but if you are planning to visit Bristol central area you may get held up somewhere.
I had a nosey around the outside today I think there was maybe one or two accessory tents/marqees there seeling all sorts.
If you are visiting the site come off the M5 at J17 for cribsscauseway follow signs for henbury to the crow lane roaunabout and turn right there and past the shops to the T junction at the end of the road and turn right and stay on this road around the 1 way system and keep going along the edge of blaise castle.
A bit late to reply but the accessories were ok but nt much differant in price to a shop and certainly not worth paying the £6 just for that personally I thought it was bit something and nothing.
