Hi
We took our new to us caravan to storage today and when OH was fitting the wheel clamp he noticed a tear in the tyre. It appears to have been caused by the mover - it's certainly in the place where the mover clamps onto the tyre and about the same length. Our mover is a PowrTouch, it was already fitted on the caravan so I assume it's about 4 years old but we have no paperwork on it. We used the mover at both ends of the journey to the storage site but did not notice anything unusual.
I'm sure this is not supposed to happen but don't know if we have any redress with anyone. We haven't phoned the dealer yet 'cause we knew the person we need to speak to was not in (had already phoned them earlier). We have a one year warranty from the dealer but don't have that paperwork yet so don't know the exact terms but I assume tyres will be excluded.
If anyone has any advice we would be very grateful. We should be going away in two weeks so need to get this sorted out quickly.
