Hi what sort of money do 5/6 berth caravans go for aged around the yr 2000 mark? Hopefully at the end of the yr we may be able to afford something different. We bought a 95 hobby recently but its proving difficult to get on sites. Some i have rang have said no and the ones i've emailed haven't even bothered replying. I didn't even want the van it was my hubby that was adament that he wanted it. We had already had Tenby booked and he was desperate to get something in time and any english van of the same age was double the price. My fave campsite won't accept it either cuz its over 23ft long sniff sniff!....i will go back to webbers one day! There are campsites out there that will take it, so far treveague farm and 12 oaks have said no probs and the Shrubbery said bring it in sept. I want more choice though and don't want to be restricted!!

Hi Carney,

C & CC Club and caravan club sites do not have a problem with Hobby vans, it may be worth joining them and now your selection is huge!

I saw vans of that age around 5,500 from dealers but you will get a better buy from a private sale. We got our 2004 model for 6k bargain and its mint.
