I've never heard of or seen a Freedom with damp. It is possible that a seam or a hole where the lights are attached, or somewhere, could leak and water get in, but the damage would be easily repairable and the hole sealed again. With a "normal" caravan the damp gets into the wooden frame & panelling behind the aluminium shell and rots it - a Freedom doesn't have a wooden frame so this can't happen. It would just be a question of drying out the internal fittings - I suppose the wooden furniture could be damaged if it was really bad and left a long time, but that could easily be replaced, compared to stripping back a "normal" caravan and replacing the structural timbers.
