has any body used the portable halogen ovens , like those advertised from JML and other brands rebadged , are they any good for the caravan ,

We recently went away, first time in a caravan. We took our halogen oven, as we weren't sure if the caravan oven worked (which it did we found out). But the whole time we used our halogen oven, which worked perfectly well in the caravan (possibly the cooking times were a bit longer than when we are at home).

But i can certainly recommend taking one.

hiya im also thinking of getting a halogen oven and was wondering if you can do things like bought chicken pie and oven chips in it or is it only good for casseroles roasts etc.

had one for about 2 years very pleased with it. i did not get an extended warranty with it and the element packed up last month.

I have now bought a flavour wave digital model with a 3 year extended warranty. this model is like the jml model but better quality and has a digital display and the lid hinges so you don't have to lift it off and find somewhere to put it

we have used it and am very pleased with it

We take ours ..... great for jacket potatoes - heating pies & pasties - ready meals - basically anything you cook in a normal oven

Just done full english in it ..... 20 mins all done and you don't have to watch over it ..... shove it all on and set the timer .................
