Can anyone recommend a sturdy but lightweight portable gas bbq, preferably a table-top one rather than a  cadac style one?

Last year we gave up taking our big Cadac with us and we used the disposable type but they were unrealiable so we bought a Campingaz Grill R that sits on a 907 gas bottles. Its brilliant - we've cooked breakfast/tea for 4. Fantastic!

There are little legs that you can get for the cadac so that it can be used on a table!

I borrowed one of these http://www.weberbbq.co.uk/BBQ_Range/Weber_Q/Weber_Q100_-_Q120.aspx recently to try. It was excellent and I'm going to buy one for our trip in July. I'm a charcoal BBQ man but this was perfect for the van as it's clean, easy to use and compact. Best of luck whatever you choose.

i bought a firefly picnic the other week for a friend and it was not that heavy.managed to get it half price from a lady who stopped motorhoming.they retail about £50.good price for gas one.he said its really good.
