Just wanted to say we had a prob. the other week whilst away the one end of the in -line filter blew off we had water everywhere, OH did a makeshift repair, till we got home. All we wanted was the small connector 12-10ml reducer but could we get one NO all everyone wanted to sell us was the whole thing everything else but etc, they said these didn't come seperate.
So OH rang Whale in Belfast themselves, who said they didn't sell direct to the public, but what we did find out was the particular connector shouldn't have been on there anyway so it's more by luck than judgement it held on this long.So after investigating there is one either end one with two grooves which is the right one & one with one groove which is wrong! so much for a full service when we bought it! 3 years ago,
We could have had a major disaster if we hadn't noticed it straight away, we had to leave the heating on to dry out immediately before it seeped through anywhere thank goodness for me standing there with no shoes on when I switched the pump back on after OH changed the barrel
If anyone has a Bailey Pageant Loire 2004 check these as OH doesn't think they have been changed since new & could have been put on in the factory it may be a one off but worth a check. The upshot is our man in Belfast has sent us one free of charge we only rang them the day before yesterday good service, so praise where it's due all's well that ends well
