Hi all

Our Caravan is a Sterling Moonstone 2001 model

1st problem,the rachet on the Handbrake has gone!  is this an easy DiY? and where can I get parts, new or second hand in the North East Area?

2nd problem, Our Thetford Cassete Toilet CW 200CW/CWE will not flush I have checked the spade fuse etc this was okay I have checked the wiring to the blue button switch all seem okay! although it was damp inside the rubber cover? or could the problem be the pump impeller? if so where can I obtained any parts quickly also localy? any help and advice from our UK Members Brains would be greatly appreciated  Thanks.

click on customer service then

user information then repair instructions then built in toilets,and select your type of toilet.

spray pump inside with lots of WD40 and turn impeller with a small screwdriver and it may be ok after that.they do stick if not used.

Thanks for your prompt reply the hand brake looks similar to the one on our Sterling? but I will check chassis to see if I can Identify any numbers/codes etc to see if this one will fit the price quoted is great and it looks a simple enough job to install, Thetford toilet info was also very helpful so I am hoping to solve that problem as well, thanks once again.

Just to keep you posted I order the Handbrake assembly Tuesday morning 27th by phone and would you belive it has just arrived this morning at 9.30am now thats what I call bloody good customer service, thank to you once again for the contact.I will be fitting the assembley shortly
