i wonder if anyone can help me on this one ..i pick up my buccaneer today with an electronically operated actuator on the mover so i don't need a tool to put the rollers to the tyre.
my question is.. can i leave the rollers onto the tyre as another form of security while the wheel locks are in position and all other security hitch locks posts ect are enabled or is it a bad idea ..the caravan is on my drive and will be used most if not every weekend now i'm retired ...thanks in advance Keith & Diane
I would not leave the rollers engaged because the tyres will be in danger as the rollers would be pushing in on one position all the time it was static.

As above, I'd definitely disengage otherwise you'll end up with a dent in your tyres where the rollers have been pushing. We don't leave the controller in our caravan - not a massive deterrant, certainly, but it would arouse our suspicions if someone tried to sell me a caravan with a mover that couldn't be used because they don't have the (expensive) controller for it...

If you have a little cuby hole in the car out of the way, put it there. Or in my case I have an Alko wheel clamp bag so I store it in there along with the extraction tool and brace.
Our controller lives in the cubby box in the Discovery with the caravan and storage keys - we can't tow with the Disco so we know it will definitely be with us so it seemed a sensible place to keep these things.
Glad the tip is of use.

Good idea but i wouldn't want to leave my keys in our car in case it got stolen . We have had a car stolen to use in stealing a motorbike. The car was found a couple of days later on a well known site and had scratches and dents to match the stolen 'bike. Luckily there was nothing much in there apart from tapes but it annoyed us as we'd only had it 2 weeks and we'd saved up to buy it with our hard earned cash. So i'll found a little place in the house for the controls to go
