Hi all,
We are having to change our 2 berth to a 4 berth since my husbands youngest daughter has come to live with us.
The only problem is that we keep the caravan on the front of our house and are limited to the length of caravan we can have hence we are looking for a 4 berth that is about 19ft long 20ft at the very most.
Anyone have any suggestions what makes we should look for please?

Hi
I don't know any because i've got 3 kids so we look at larger outfits. Are you looking at the same age as your current 'van? I'm sure it's only been in the more recent years that 'vans have got wider and longer so you should be able to find a 4 berth of that age quite easily. If you are looking at new or not very old don't forget to check the width's too. We are getting a new 'van which is 2" wider but the more expensive one's are even wider.
Take a look here for help in choosing layouts and whats available where.
Have you thought about getting an annex or inner tent in the awning for your step daughter? Our son is 10 and he started sleeping in a tent in the awning last year and he loves it. He can go to sleep when he wants, he's an early to bed early to rise boy and we are the opposite so it suits us all. We went away at Easter and he slept in there fine.
Good Luck in your search

Hi,
Thank you for your reply.
We have just bought the universal annex and used it 3 weeks ago when it was me hubby and my 2 daughters. The oldest (21) won't be coming with us very often if at all so we are still looking at 4 of us even though we now have and extra daughter. My only concern is that we like to caravan all year round and were thinking of the cold wet and windy weather. Not sure if I want them sleeping in the awning during the winter.
Thanks JamesA114 will look out for that type of caravan.
