Starting to panic about our what I need/ don't need for our first caravan.

Caravan has a cassette toilet, what chemicals do I need to buy for it?

Have just bought a Sunncamp Ultima 390 awning, didn't want a full sized one just yet, are they any good?  It looks nice.

Did managed to get storage for the van, which is very hard to get in Fife, so that's one less panic, still got to get insurance, but it's just over a week till we pick up the van.

Can't wait to use it.

We did get storage at the site at Balgonie Castle, very happy with it.  They were full, but upgrading areas to make more space which will be ready when when we need it.  Phoned a friend who recommended them, dropping her name worked which was very much appreciated.

I like kirkcaldy caravans, thats where we bought the caravan, awning, hitchlock, wheel clamp, so will get my loo supplies there as well.

My husband just needs a satallite dish and we are all the way.

Glad to see you've managed to get storage, I didn't realise the Thornton site had closed down (left a message and wondered why I didn't get any reply!). Do you have any details of the Coaltown site, I've tried googling it but can't find anything. We're hopefully picking up our new van around the 10th (?) but I think it's coming in on the 1st too - look out for it, its a Quasar 546. can't wait. Pity it's not in time for next weekends holiday.

Good luck with your insurance search, first place we tried came out at £305 - eek, we thought, thats dear, next one was over £400!!

Vangogogo- can recomend Caravan Guard have done me a good deal for last couple of yrs but i allways shop around before i commit.

Will be interested how you get on with your satellite as we are going to embark on that project but want the cheapest & easiest option.
