A word of warning, 'Lucas' were bought by Yuasa some years ago, they kept the business and sold the 'name' off.
What now appears to be the same Lucas battery are now made in different factories with different capacities.
All new batteries must now state their actual capacity, be sure then to ask what it is and don't assume because it's of a particular size, that's what it is!
These new rules don't come fully into force until September and although it must be stressed, many are already conforming, until old stock is got rid of, there's going to be plenty of 'bargains' around that are actually rubbish!!!
I'll second what gary says, When they sold their name off it wasn't just batteries, it was everything. I wouldnt touch anything with a lucas badge, it could be made by anyone. I noticed the other day tesco are selling a cheap range of power tools under the lucas guise.
