We advertised the van on ebay last week as suggested on here it was the best place to try.
Got an offer and deposit within a day and it was collected at the weekend by a very nice woman who had given up caravanning a few years ago and her and her hubby wanted to give it another go as she was sick of going abroad! Who says no one wants a 2 berth van (was quoted to us by a salesman!)
We have now ordered our new one, Sterling Europa dealer special with all the extras we wanted at 700.00 less as we went without a trade in.
Only problem is it is sitting at the Swift factory and they are closed this week for the May holiday, will find out next week when it can be transported up to the dealers. Could be waiting a few weeks.....all the missed weekends
Baby is due in Sept so I think our holiday in July/August could be the last outing for the year, want to get as much use out of it as poss before tucking it up for the winter and being subjected to an 8 month old next year!
Why don't you try and find a dealer who has got one in stock? You would probably get a better deal as he will want to sell the one he has rather your dealer having to buy his from Swift. No missed weekends!!!!
2kias, no its a delaer special with all the extras so we can only buy from the one place, no one else has them!
Kabbes, it would be too far a drive, think the Swift factory is York and we are just outside Glasgow, also it has o go to the dealer to get things like the cd/mp3 player and clock etc fitted. They still have to do their checks on it, best to leave it to them I think!
Good luck with the baby pamelab21, Your in for a right adventure next year, its certianly an eye opener baby proofing a caravan, especially if you have a little escape artist like mine!
