well i have finally become a tin box tower.

We picked up are new Gt60 540/6 today.

i know one thing its not like towing an artic you can feel every time the van moves and it goes through gaps when other car drivers dont move for you, now thats where the similarities with an artic start and end.

Muppet car drivers not moving out of your way or cutting you up GRRRR.

Is simcon (simon or another GT60 owner here?

If so on the middle bunk the thing that stops little people falling out, the inside rectangle cut out bit is it bare rough wood? i didnt notice this for some reason.

Great great van, picked up ours in February and love it.  Sadly, i'm trying to rack my brains about the bed guard, and can't answer you....sorry.

Enjoy the van though, fantastic, wishing you all many happy holidays.

As for lorry drivers, most of them do flash us in, and i always signal back to say Thanks !. 

AliHo do you know what the small two pin plug is for that is in the folder that has all the instruction manuals in?

Its a spare 12 v plug, but ive forgotten what it's exactly used for, sorry, feeling very thick tonight !! That's about as helpful as a chocolate tea pot isn't it??

A spare 12v plug is there something all ready with a 12v plug on?

I have not seen anything yet or where you would even plug it in i will have a good look tomorrow.

could be for a 12volt television lead,as for the bare wood noticed this on most baileys when we looked at them at the NEC last October apart from that we would like the GT60 fixed bed but will keep dreaming .
Congrats on joining the TIn Tent brigade and you soon get used to muppet car drivers who just have to get in front of you

Now come on Guys, it's only a caravan you are towing not a 45' trailer with 24 ton sat in it.

Do you really need flashing when you've overtaken a heavy?
