well i have finally become a tin box tower.
We picked up are new Gt60 540/6 today.
i know one thing its not like towing an artic you can feel every time the van moves and it goes through gaps when other car drivers dont move for you, now thats where the similarities with an artic start and end.
Muppet car drivers not moving out of your way or cutting you up GRRRR.
Is simcon (simon or another GT60 owner here?
If so on the middle bunk the thing that stops little people falling out, the inside rectangle cut out bit is it bare rough wood? i didnt notice this for some reason.

Its a spare 12 v plug, but ive forgotten what it's exactly used for, sorry, feeling very thick tonight !! That's about as helpful as a chocolate tea pot isn't it??
A spare 12v plug is there something all ready with a 12v plug on?
I have not seen anything yet or where you would even plug it in i will have a good look tomorrow.
Thanks Niall

I definately have extended mirrors but on the whole trip back from Hull last weekend I was only flashed in by a couple of lorries so either most didn't bother or they did it before i got far enough ahead of them so they were visible in my mirrors. I have always flashed heavies in and if i've been flashed in by one i thank them by doing the left right left thing with my indicators. maybe the truckers were just of the anti caravan brigade last week!

Now come on Guys, it's only a caravan you are towing not a 45' trailer with 24 ton sat in it. Do you really need flashing when you've overtaken a heavy? Niall, glad to see you have time to check for extra mirrors, I dont!
yep because as it says on my cars mirrors "objects viewed in the mirror can be more distant than they appear" you hgv drivers are professionals, have had training and testing and do it for a living. we caravanners drive our articultated vehicles only as a means of getting to the site and we are amateurs so we need more flashing in than you do!
