Hi here the question when we picked up the new van i kept on about getting a pig tail for free and No one would give me one from the manager down but the person who did the hand over gave us a pig tail yippee!!!
I Fitted it today and noticed the date stamp is june 2007 which makes this pig tail out of date according to the caravan clubs web site
""Hoses will inevitably deteriorate with age, so they should be inspected for wear and damage and replaced on a regular basis, certainly every two years. ""
Now should i complain or just go and buy one like i would of have to do anyway?
Often the age limitation is "from first use"....if it has been stored correctly I cannot imagine that there wil be any problem with it. I have a two year old van and I am not planning to change mine yet, it still looks as new.

Thanks for that info, was not aware it had to be changed. I am right in thinking you mean the piece of pipe that goes from the regulator into the caravan.
