hello all
we have just bought a secondhand caravan (upgraded from trailer tent) and went away this weekend to give it a test run. not too much wrong at all considering the age (1989). needs new window stays and curtain guide tape in places (both on ebay i understand).
But one issue which is more a cosmetic prolem rather than functional is that the awning appears to be about 500mm to large so when it is attached to the caravan if you line one side up the other side door drapes onto the floor. our solution was to square it up and have both end doors slightly draping. when we walked around the caravan site we saw the same issue in varying degrees (although non quite as bad as ours). we are not really bothered as we will just pull the sides tight and peg out and use the front panels for door in/out but we wondered if there is any simple or cheap solution to this problem.
I am guesing nothing short of new awning or sending it to be re-sized both of which sound expensive but we thought we would ask anyway.
Awning is a pyramid tuscany (are these any good?) and caravan is an ABI MONZA 400D (again is this any good for its age)
thanks
paul and ade
