does anybody out there know if i can use t-cut on my van, the black streaks are really ground in ive tried car polish but it won't budge. Also the bird poo as stained it an awfull brown
i used it on my old van no problems and i've even removed a mark on my new van where i use to the water hose on the front pulling handle which got marked as the wind blew it, if it was me i would try it on a part thats hard to see but i would have thought you would be OK Andy

Hi derekbab- we have the same trouble........we use Autoglym Black streak remover.....wet the van, squirt it on and wipe away -DO NOT LET IT DRY ON ANYWHERE- this has been faultless for us. Good luck, let us know how you go on. Gary
I would be a bit wary of using T-cut on all the van as it is an abrasive polish. Yes it will remove the streaks but it will also remove a fine layer of paint on the caravan. Try using Autoglym or Mer as we have always found they work wonders but needs lots of elbow grease on a van that is badly streaked.
I won't use T-CUT - it's abrasive. The Autoglm stuff is good but I use MER for really stubborn stains and a once a year all over polish. Fenwicks the rest of the time. Have you tried the stronger mix of Fenwicks?
fenwicks and a brush, all the black marks came off.
------------- its easy enough to be pleasant when the world rolls along like a song.but a man is worth while if he can smile when every thing goes f------ wrong.
Fenwicks for me too.....spray on a 25% solution 75% water leave for 2 mins and scrub with a suitable brush. Works perfectly every time.
The paint on a caravan is very thin, and I suspect that a good rub with T-Cut about 3 or 4 times and you will be through the paint, so yes it will appear to work the first time, but I would not do it!!
Hiya, we got back late saturday night and saw all the black straeks on our van so on sunday(day of rest !!!!!) off we went to the storage armed with Fenwicks , plenty of water and clothes, no more streaks. As has already been said Dont use T cut, it'll take too much off your van. keep smiling. Bill
