We have just bought a Swift Challenger 550L (2005).  We viewed the caravan at the vendors house.  The caravan was lovely and the vendor seemed very genuine. 

They advised us that they bought it in 2007 from Harringtons, but since then not used it much at all due to parents ill health.  Due to this fact it has not been serviced.  The van has been stored on their driveway so has been aired and cleaned on a regular basis.

My question being do you think it is advisable to purchase without a recent service.

Have been phoning around for Mobile services, and not sure whether to go for a NCC approved servicer at a cost of £165 (full service in and out) or a MCEA approved servicer at a cost of £125.  Could you advise at all as I am new at all this.
