Hi we are going away his weekend to test the van but i don't know if we need the Leveling ramps that we used to use with the Motorhome.

To put under the wheels of the caravan to level it or do we just use the corner legs to make it level?

What do you use to put under the legs if they don't go down enough

Blocks of wood or those stacking pads?

We use the ramps we had for the motorhome as well. (someone else gone back to caravanning like us??????) Don't use the legs to level the van. If you put them down and lift the corners of the van then it will rock and really annoy you. The floor will probably creak as well.

 Just use them as steadies.

If you are on a CC site most of the pitches are level.

All this should be fun trying to level the van and put an alko lock on.

Do i leave the van on the car untill everything is leave so the car can do all the work or is it easy enough to just push and pull or jack the van up to put the ramps under?

I want my motorhome back!!

Never done caravaning just need more beds and space:)

Hahaha  I am a hgv driver class1 so stay off ALL roads Between 2 am and 2pM monday to friday to be safe and the m65 around 5ish tomorrow

Will get some pads soon, wood will do for tomorrow though.

Yes thats the one just staying friday and sat. to test the van and see what all this caravaning is about and if it is better than the motorhome

not true some pitches on the left hand side need the level ramps,we go regular to this site and like it lots.just been last week in fact.
