My parents just had their motor mover fitted there, they were the cheapest around and did it in a few hours.
We pop in quite regularly, usually on the way to Jacksons, they used to be quite cheap and have a decent choice of vans but lately seem to have expensive old vans with the odd newer one.
Have you seen something there you like??

Hi, We have just bought an older van (1991, 4 berth, ABI Marauder) for a very reasonable price from Tamworth camping. Really liked the people there, they were very friendly and helpfull and not pushy like some other places we had looked. They had the van cleaned until it was spotless inside and out (even though we paid under a thousand pound for it) and gave it a full service before we picked it up, they even gave us a number of a storage site, which is also a reasonable price. When we did collect it they went through how everything worked and made sure we were happy with the van. There was a lot of caravans being picked up when we went to view the vans and when we collected ours, they are also very flexible with the times you can collect it, whereas other places wanted to dictate when they wanted us to collect it.
I would highly recomend them on the service they gave to us,
We are looking to buy a caravan later in the year and I came across them on the net a few weeks ago and when't down to see them yesterday we have about £3000 to spend.
They just seemed really nice and I wanted to see if I was being hood winked this is the first caravan center I have been to who have been plesant usually it's a case of "oh only second hand there over there"
We are thinking we want to do bussiness with them I want someone who I can feel I trust.

They do seem to be nice people over there, have you tried West Midlands caravans? They're about 7 miles from Tamworth caravans and have all second hand too plus a really good shop and cafe.
You could also buy private, we spent ages trawling the dealers getting ideas of layout and makes we liked then bought our first one private for 1k with awning and everything you need to just drive away even the cutlery. The exact same van was up on a dealers for 2.5 k with nothing thrown in.
Remember to budget for extras, you could easily spend £500 filling it with essentials.
I would love to buy second hand but I don't have the confidance to do that to be honest. I am a bit nervious about the whole thing got to buy a tow car and I have never towed and then a caravan too.
We are not far from West Midlands Caravans as we live close to coventry I have not been to that one to be honest

Just to point out Tamworth Caravans and Tamworth Camping are 2 different companies. We have dealt with Tamworth Camping on a few occasions and would do again without hesitation.
dee - We are selling an ideal starter van as seen in the free ad's on here.
we purchased our abbey piper from here 12 months ago, they have a good selection of starter caravans aswell as others for sale , we found the service very good & friendly and not pushy like some of the other companys we visted.
Hi ben6 Thank you but we are sorting a few finances and we need to get a tow car too we will be looking end of the year too buy hopefully there will be a few reductions around by then
