Hi Folks.

Can anyone tell me how to measure an awning to tell me what size caravan it fits ??

Thanks for your responses ... I have measured the awning whilst laid out on the lawn.
I have measured from bottom of skirt up the side, across the roof & back down to the bottom skirt of the opposite side. This comes to approx 8.2mtr. The roof section alone is approx 5mtr.
Obviously the awning itself is untensioned (being on the lawn) so can someone offer me some idea from that measurement what size caravan i would be looking at ??

It sounds like - you've bought the awning prior to purchasing the caravan?

If you're looking to sell the awning, then simply advertise it detailing it's make and approximate length, any caravaner will be able to determine if it will fit there van.

Not quite. Awning came with a caravan it didnt fit. Have since sold the caravan & am left with the awning
