We have just returned home from our first weekend away in our van at Lower Clough Foot CC site and had a fab time! Dad in law came to help us set everything up and took us a while i have to say but once everything was set up we were fine and it was a glorious weekend (made even better with the stunning sunshine weve had here!). Not to self next time must take: milk, tupperware, foil and cling film. cant think of anything else i forgot. no doubt next time i go i will find more stuff i need!

Next job......finding a nice 820cm awning at an affordable price....any ideas?

Pleased to hear that you had a great 1st weekend away in your new 'van.  Agree with getting that stuff as you do need it when you are away.  Have you thought about using ice-cream tubs or margarine tubs instead of buying them?

Please can you tell me when you are away again as i will book up for that weekend cos the good weather obviously follows you lol

£99.00 they are good quality for the price only downside is the windows they are frosted like a toilet window.glad you enjoyed your first outing

after been at work all week funny shifts cannot always get away on a friday and having to work every other sunday when we do manage a weekend away i can honestly say it doesnt matter if it rains obviously prefer  if it doesnt but just the getting away seems to do it for me met some great people other half angie loves going away roll on july scotland here we come
