We need a new awning and quite like the look of the Eurovent. Like the pegging points - rubber bands attached to an strap - seem easy to replace. The Dorema have a little T shaped plastic lugs to hang ladders on - ladders come off when you take the awning down and you spend the first few minutes finding and putting back the ladders before you peg out, and then when one of the little T shaped things break/bend its a sewing job to replace them.
Can anyone vouch for the quality of the Eurovent? I know it's not an Isabella, but how does it compare with a Dorema or a Bradcot. Wasn't over keen on the Dorema but really liked my old Bradcot. Even the the new Bradcot's have ladders and plastic T shaped lugs.
Hi, We got a eurovent porch awning and have been using it for 2 years. It has been excellent and has never let us down, we got it because the quality and make was better then the pyramid awnings. we got ours from Jeff bowen awnings, very good prices and offers free fast delievery. There are offers on Bradcots at http://www.bradcot-awnings.co.uk/ if you are intrested in getting one.

I reckon I could pick up a Eurovent Sancerre for £560 at Jacksons (to fit a 1008cm van), with steel frame. (They have a 20% off offer on.) I still have my old Bradcot fibre frame for a slightly smaller awning, but I reckon it would fit easily - it's a good quality 'grey' isabella type fibre too - not one of the Dorema cheaper 'whiter' versions. A new Bradcot would be about £824 for alloy (don't know the steel price). All in all I reckon the Eurovent is a strong contender.
My parents had a eurovent thrown in as part of a deal at Jacksons and weren't impressed, it leaked very badly and in strong wind 3 of the straps where you peg it in tore away from the awning.
I had a eurovent and used it for several years. Still got it in my garage as it is too small for the current caravan. I had no problems whatsoever. Eurovent make an awning especially for Lowdham Leisureworld. I have found them to be a decent and fairly inexpensive awning. When comparing with such as Dorema, check out the frame quality. You will be more impressed with Eurovent. IMHO.
I know what you mean about the frame quality. I think the fibre frame on the Eurovent is similar/ the same as the old Bradcot frame I have. The Dorema fibre frame looks less substantial.
We inherited a Eurovent awning with our caravan (I have no idea which one) but it seems to be pretty good quality and has been used lots of times and is still fully intact, no rips no tears, no broken bits and it's not a small one (the van is 8m long).
