site like the AA for directions where you can put in for a caravan friendly route?

our sat nav and the AA have very nearly had use in a trick situation on more than 1 occasion lol

Why not do as we do, plan your route manually using the main roads and use your sat nav/ AA for the last few miles. If you use your satnav on fastest route you should rarely have a problem.

I use via michelin for this purpose

If you select More Options (bottom left of calculate your route) and then where it says 'vehicle type' click on automobile and you can choose 'automobile with caravan'.
