Hi Everyone,

Ive got a query about the above caravan.  I work with a lady who has a caravan that she has but rarely use but thinks shes an expert, and she winds me up talking about it.  Weve just changed our sprite major 6 to a Fairway 620 (which  is absolutely fantastic)  It has and onboard water tank as well as well as using external supply.  My question is did the Sprite Alpine 2006 model have an onboard tank as well because I think shes spinning a yarn because I have one.

Just wondering

Julie x

I doubt it, All the sprites we have looked at in the past including the alpine have external water supply the same as our old swift.

Someone at our storage site has just bought a fairway 620 too, they must be broad lanes most popular model at the moment!

Thinking about it since, she might have been talking about the water heater and not an extra tank, but I wouldnt put it past her to fabricate something.   It was our first time out in the new van this weekend, and we unexpectedly got electric hook up.  We go rallying you see so we are generally on battery.   It was great to be able to have a shower and then get into bed.  Going to Bloxham Steam rally this weekend, cant wait.

Julie

Its good to hear your getting your use out of it already, My mum and dad have a caravan, they bought brand new in 2004 but it only goes out 3 times a year max its such a waste,

We are away at least 12 maybe 13 times a year in ours,

We should be picking our new one up on wednesday and cannot wait, we are off the weekend to Tewkesbury with the friends who have the Major 5 and we are then back for 5 days then off to Ilfracombe for 10 days, Cannot wait!

We tend to go away in ours every other weekend and sometimes we do about 3 weekends on the trot as well as holidays.  We are in the Landrover Caravan and Camping Club and its the best thing we have done.   Wer're off to as I said bloxham steam rally, then Evesham regatta on the 10 July Leamington RFC weekafter and then Isle of Wight for nine nights.  Caravanning is the best thing we have done and we wish we had done it years ago.  Im just down the road from you in Alcester.  We even go away in ours at New Year!!!

All the best for your new van

I have a 2007 alpine 4 and it doesn't have an onboard water tank. It does however have a water heater.

if the 2007 doesn't have one i can't see the 2006 model having one either. unless they had it fitted as an extra.
