To remove the plug or whatever in the Alko receiver, you are supposed to have to register an Alko lock and give them the number on the sticker on the receiver. They then send you a tool to remove the thingy.
This is to stop other makes of lock being fitted to the receiver. I am sure there must a way to do it without the Alko tool!!
Alko took Bulldog (I think) to court and won, so they had to withdraw their lock. But I cannot make out how the Gridlock fits, maybe it does not need to screw into the receiver.
