I've just been browsing the for sale ads on this website and noticed 5 adverts all placed on the 26th for very cheap caravans eg Knaus 550 Starclass 2007/8 for £2200!?? There are also a couple of Elddis, a swift and a avondale for sale all in london all very cheap for the years. The person(s) selling only registered that day. Sounds a bit suspect to me BEWARE.

This sort of thing really annoys me. These people give genuine sellers a bad name.
Our van is for sale on this website and I'd hate to think anyone was suspicious.
Just incase anyone's interested it is a Lunar Zenith 5 and comes with loads of extras including a gas barbecue and a new generator. .

if you check out the mobile number theres only 9/10 digits all mobiles have 11 so you'd have to email them so i'd keep well clear & go to a dealer to buy a van

You know when it's a scam when they want money without you being able to see the caravan, I would have thought nobody would be daft enough to fall for that.

I saw several of these adverts on UKCS a while ago when I was looking to buy a caravan. I e-mailed several sellers, and never heard a word back.
I've also seen them on C4Caravans, and one of the sellers did e-mail back, advising me he was out of the country, to transfer money, he would arrange shipping etc etc. Unbelievable.

The Knaus Starclass was also advertised on Caravan Selecta for £2,700!!!!! Either a scam or they missed a "one" off the beginning of the figure!! I think it has been removed now, someone must have reported it as a Nigerian fiddle.
