hi there,we recently owned a 2 birth abi award dawnstar it was a fab van, i understand abi now only make statics. its a real shame mine was 17 years old when i up graded to a new van, but it was as good as new and still had plenty of years left in it.

Thx Gypsy - I used to have an old Conway Challenger (hence the username) but changed last December to the van as the folding camper was just too much of a hassle for a weekend away. Now I have the van, an ebay bargain - has had a bit of damp in the past but all sorted now and the floor is sold too - it came with a full awning that needs the normal 6 hands to put up - so I managed to get a porch awning that is I guess around 5cm too big either side as a result of the low awning rail height of the van - but it really does work - my local dealer let me take it home and try it on the drive with promise of full refund if it didnt. Can even manage to put the porch awning up on my own if partner is coming straight from work.
