Hello, We got a new van and the awning from our old one was too small so we got the awning extended as it's only a year old. The original size was 950cm ground to ground and it was extended to 1008cm.The problem is that the poles that go along the front are now too short. Can you get poles separately? And if so, what ones and size would I need? Will I have to get the poles with the clamps on them, or can you get extensions? Thanks.
our local dealer has lots of poles for sale,READ CARAVANS/BLACKBURN you will need to decide how you are going to fit them before ordering.fitting could be your main problem as one needs to slide into the other and then clamped.the clamps you can get separate too.think there was two in a packet. the extra length may need two uprights to support them.

I am confused over specifically which poles are affected?
Based on our experience we have not had to alter the frame so are you sure you need to?
If fibre; poles and clamps can be obtained but the poles are very expensive. The clamps are cheap and stocked by accessory shops.
We have had awnings both extended and reduced [by Isabella in our case], but the front has remained the same. The alteration only involved the size of the two triangular side panels of the roof; the frame was unaffected.
